Winter Planting

Winter is swiftly coming upon us, with a predicted 3 inches of snow to welcome some parts of the UK! How lovely…

Art in the Park have already taken some measures to combat this chilly coming winter months with not only heaters, fresh brew of tea and coffees but also a variety of winter plants and vegetables. Here are just some of those we have planted so far:

The Miner’s lettuce, or botanically known as the Claytonia perfoliata or ‘Spring Beauty'(whichever improves your mood this season).

Don’t like parsley? Try the Japanese parsley which we’ve also  never had before. It’ll be interesting to try to say the least!

Traditional lamb cress, yum yum!

Some corn salad to go with your…corn salad! Yes, we know that’s quite lame…

Look forward to what else we can whip up this snowy (fingers crossed) winter.
